Valentine’s Day is coming up very soon, and if you’re looking for gift inspiration or ideas for Valentine’s Day, you’ve come to the right place! Let’s just get right into it!
I just first have to start off by saying that if your special someone is a bookworm, I have the perfect list for them and you can find that here. I’ve started moving all book-related things away from this blog to just streamline things, but you will still find the occasional bookish thing because I can’t resist. But without further ado, here are some ideas.

A Restaurant Date
Let’s be honest here, a restaurant date is usually what happens on Valentine’s day so go for it! Choose a place you’d both like or their favourite place. I do have a few recommendations if you need ideas, namely the restaurants I thought were interesting for Winterlicious. See the list here.
Flowers
This may not go over too well depending on your special someone, because I know some people may not like flowers. Or maybe they are really into Flowers by Miley Cyrus right about now. But worth a try. If all else fails, a chocolate bouquet or an edible arrangement is an option. Made more endearing if you’re willing to DIY it too. Oh for flower choices, roses! Or ask the florist for their pick if you want something more unique.
Cake Gifts
So there’s a double fromage cheesecake available from cheese garden this year for Valentine’s Day, it looks pretty and I bet it would be a hit for cheesecake lovers. An ice cream cake could also work too or maybe a creation from Daan Go Cake Lab if you’re feeling a little fancier, I actually highly recommend their Pandan or Durian cakes because they’re so good.
Chocolate
You can absolutely never quite go wrong with chocolate gifts. There is a variety available out there and if you’re running out of time there are Lindt stores in most malls now with a good selection. If you have a little bit more time on your hands I actually would recommend going local with a brand called Chachalate. Learn more here (non-sponsored!).
Skincare Gift
If your special someone loves skincare, I think it wouldn’t hurt to pick up a product they already use or to get a few items that are trending right now that they might like. Something like that right now would be Laneige’s Chocolate/Berry lip treatments which you can get at Sephora. Or if you can find it, Beauty of Joseon’s newest sun stick. Korean Makeup
If your special someone likes Korean makeup, everyone is in luck because you can get them at a variety of places across the GTA now.
