I actually did two separate hauls in March from Jolse, but I’ll “combine” them as one for this little haul tag. I took advantage of their last 1+1 promotion (yay!) and managed to get some products that I needed and wanted to try. Here’s my haul!

I haven’t been doing hauls recently because I’ve been trying to use up products at home, and a lot of places and websites are still not shipping out to Canada yet. Or, their shipping fees/minimums are way outside my measly student budget at the moment. For the March haul, I did on Jolse, I actually did two different ones because I was waiting for their sales. You can actually save a bit of money when you only buy products during their sales!

I ended up getting 3-4 items ; B_Lab’s Matcha Hydrating Foam Cleanser, Beauty of Joseon’s Ginseng Essence Water and the ever popular Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Re-Cover Cream. The cleanser was actually part of their March 1+1 promotion, so I got two of those for a great price!

I had heard a lot about B_Lab’s Matcha Cleanser, and I saw some comparisons to Krave Beauty’s Matcha Hemp cleanser. I saw reviews that both cleansers are similar and doesn’t leave that dry/stretched feeling to your skin after using it. Most cleansers I’ve used so far have claimed to not leave that dry feeling, but some still do, just to a lesser degree.

I don’t want to write a full blown review here yet, but I’ve already tried the cleanser a few times, and it’s been promising!

I bought Beauty of Joseon’s Ginseng Essence Water because I didn’t have a backup essence, and at the time of ordering, the essence I was using was at 25% used. I chose that one because it was also on sale at the time, but its ingredients seemed promising. (it’s supposed to be a toner but I’m going to use it as an essence lol)

I’m Chinese-Vietnamese, and in Chinese (and Korean) culture, Ginseng is seen as a very useful herb in health brews and in skincare. Growing up, I was told that Ginseng was saved for special occasions and it would give your skin a healthy glow.  Based on the stats for this Essence, it’s supposed to hydrate and revitalize the skin, while also giving some anti-ageing benefits. Once again it seems promising!

Finally, the product that took Tik Tok and Instagram by storm. Dr. Jart+’s Cicapair Re-Cover Cream, or Colour Corrector depending on if you got the Asian or Western version of the jar. This is an odd little product that I felt would work well in my routine, especially considering that I’ve cut down on products used during the day with all the masking going on. I cannot justify using foundation or cushion foundations, only to have it rubbed off by my mask.

The cream is kind of that 3-in-1 product; moisturizer, SPF and colour corrector/foundation. I’m thinking of applying skincare, SPF, this and then some blush. I have only given it a few test tries, so I’ll hold off on saying anything else for now.

I’m pretty pleased with this haul, and I honestly cannot wait to give everything a try. I’ve linked the products below for anyone who wants to buy them, and don’t forget to follow the blog on Bloglovin’ or me on social media! Looking for a YesStyle friend code?
