Now just a short little talk. With most places shutting down in the city and many officials asking for people who don’t work in essential workplaces to stay at home, I’ve literally been at home with the exception of a few short grocery store runs I did with my dad.

With that being said, on Saturday I was craving bubble tea so badly because it’s been a while since I got it. I ended up taking advantage of UberEats’ $0 delivery fee for buying local, promotion to order bubble tea for my mom and I. Now, if you looked up UberEats reviews some customers complain about bad couriers, never getting their order, being charged twice and etc.

So I don’t find it unreasonable to be a little wary, I feel that I got a good courier that day and it arrived a couple of minutes earlier than they said it would. So for anyone wanting to give it a try, it’s a good option but keep in mind that depending on where you live there might not be a lot of places available.

We are probably  5 or so days into Spring, so what better than to do a cute Spring lip stain look? I’m not likely to be wearing it around town because of the whole social distancing thing, but I think it would make for a good look if paired with a spring-inspired eyeshadow look. So let’s go!

Recently-ish I managed to find Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Lip Pop at a Sephora that I don’t pass by often. If you want to see the review of that, it’s here. After getting used to the texture and how soft it makes my lips feel, I thought that it might be good to be used to prep before a lip tint/stain.

For some lip tints I’ve tried over the years, they always grab onto the driest parts of your lips and it doesn’t look great. I found that using the lip pop-under some lip tints that give you trouble kind of extend their lasting power and also looks like you just had a freezie (frozen pop, ice pop, etc).

The Lip tint I used with the lip pop was Labiotte’s Wine Lip Tint in CR01, which normally doesn’t last that long on my upper lip. However, when I got back home after using this combo (about 3 hours, a week before social distancing started) the colour was still fairly vibrant.

I don’t have pictures of the lip tint anymore so if you want to see the colour I would recommend checking the original review post I have up, here.
