Summer is here! School is out! And there may or may not be a shortage of things to do in Toronto, however here’s a list I’ve compiled of places you can  visit this summer. The places I’ll be mentioning may or may not be outside Toronto, and it’ll be your choice as to if you’d like to go there or not.

1. Niagara Falls

I’m not exactly sure why I love going there so much, but there’s just something about Niagara Falls that has me asking my parent’s to take us on a road trip there.  Make sure you stop by the Hershey store and Sugar Mountain before you leave! On your way there or back, try stopping by St. Catherine’s or Niagara On The Lake.

2. Wasaga Beach

I still remember the first time my parents and I went to Wasaga beach, for some reason, going there reminds me of Clearwater beach in Florida with some differences. Here’s a link to what you can do at Wasaga Beach!

3. Terre Bleu Lavender Farm

I haven’t had the chance to visit this lavender farm yet, but it seems like there’s a lot to do and see there. Not to mention that this seems like a great place for insta-worthy pics *wink wink*. Here’s a link to some things you can do/see at the farm.

4. The CNE

What I consider as the largest fair I’ve ever been to, featuring rides, food, games with prizes and a lot of shopping.  You can save some $$ on admission tickets by buying the early bird ones in selected stores or online.

5. Centre Island

Centre Island is kind of a “on the fence place” to go in my opinion, because other than checking out the kiddie games, the farm and picnicking, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of things you can do there. That doesn’t really stop me from going though, the atmosphere is nice.

Are there any places you know of that you feel should’ve been added to the list? Let me know!
