StyleKorean is probably one of many well-known sites you can buy Korean cosmetics from online, and every so often they run their TMRM (Try Me Review Me) events where you can get full-sized products for free in exchange for reviewing them! I got the chance to try some popular products from the brand Skinfood, and here are my thoughts!
To start off, I’m not unfamiliar with Skinfood and get a little nostalgic whenever I see advertising for their products online. They were one of the first brands I started using when I first got into Korean Skincare when I was 13-14, and I’ve always had their products on my wishlist. So to say I’m excited to try these products was an understatement!
Now, for anyone who is unfamiliar with Skinfood, their whole concept is of using food as skincare ingredients. “Food for your skin” if you will, and their concept is literally in their name. Not everything they sell has this concept through, but I think it’s one of the best selling points along with great products.
In this TMRM box, there were a total of 5 products; 2 potted masks, a set of 5 calming pads, a serum and an essence. They all came with a cute StyleKorean tote bag, and you can never have enough tote bags. Despite me having used Skinfood products before, I have not actually tried any of these but I’ve heard a lot of good things about the two masks. I remember when their Carrot Carotene line came out too, and the serum (moist effector) has been on my wishlist for the longest time too.
I have all the reviews in separate blog posts (linked below!) because putting them all into one is going to be a lot to read. The reviews were done in the order I opened/used the products. Furthermore, I will have more videos/pictures of the products on my Instagram account so head over there too!
Did the products seem interesting? I’ve linked them below in case you’d like to get them.
