This scalp spray from Some By Mi is something I bought a while ago and didn’t really expect much from it, but it definitely surprised me. Here’s my review of this hidden product.

First off, I should let you know that I’ve been dealing with an oily scalp since puberty and I also have some issues with flakes. It’s nothing bad but essentially what happens is that between washes my hair and scalp get very oily, itchy and in turn I also end up having a fair amount of flaking. This has been something since I hit puberty, and it wasn’t too bad to the point I needed medicated shampoo or etc.

I also personally dye my hair a lot and it’s not really helpful for that lol. But over the years I’ve researched hair care routines and branched out to try this and that to maintain my hair. Some people recommended trying scalp scalers (exfoliators) or scalp tonics to try and ease hair loss and keep hair healthy, and that’s when I decided to try out the scalp spray.

So to use this you have to shake it vigorously first, then place the thin nozzle near your scalp and spray. Then rub it into your scalp. I usually prefer to cover my scalp in sections to get as much product on the scalp as possible. Now, when first applied there’s this little fresh/cooling sensation and it can take a while to get used to. There’s also this minty/fresh scen to it afterwards too.

I do believe it takes a while to see a difference but ultimately it’s supposed to help reduce hair loss and also maintain your scalp. Since I’ve been using this, I’ve noticed that I’ve had less flakes and also less itichiness between washes. I don’t think I’ve used it long enough to notice any changes in terms of hair loss, but I will update that if I notice anything.

Overall though, I think even paired with my haircare routine, this product has been a game changer for me in terms of hair/scalp health. If you’re looking to try a haircare product, I would recommend trying this because it is fairly cheaper compared to other products.
