I’m not exactly sure how long Innisfree’s had this eye cream formula but I felt that it was a great anti-wrinkle starter-type product for those in their early 20’s and etc. Of course I’m starting a little young, but let’s see how it goes!

I’ve had a lot of time to use this and to get to know how it worked on my skin, but first more about the eye cream. For $37 CAD (innisfree’s Canadian Site) it’s on the pricier side for eye creams, but not totally unreasonable. It’s thicker  than the MilkyDress Wrinkle and Whitening Eye Cream (which is a gel), but no where close to O Hui’s Age Recovery Eye Cream.

If you’re starting to use this product from a lighter consistency eye cream, remember that less is more. It’s very easy to over-apply the amount needed to your eye area, especially since it’s thicker. I also find that you need to give it a minute or two to sink in, before continuing your skincare routine so keep that in mind.

There’s 30mL of product in the jar, which seems to be kind of standard for eye creams. The cream has a light orchid smell, you’d have to put your nose right up against the cream to be able to smell the orchid scent. Compared to the almost instant overnight effect the MilkyDress eye cream had, it took just over a week for me to see the slight plumping under the eyes and a gradual lightening of dark circles.

Overall I think the eye cream is marketed towards those in their 20’s, and 30’s  who want to start trying out anti-aging products. I personally like to occasionally try anti-aging/anti-wrinkle stuff because I kept rubbing my eyes a lot as a kid and caused premature wrinkles underneath my eyes. For what it’s worth, I do recommend this product because while it’s kind of slow acting, you know you’ll see lasting results.

If you want to purchase this product, you can find it at a nearby Innisfree store or Korean Beauty store/grocery store. Or if you prefer to buy it online, I’ll have a link for you below. (affiliate)
