I don’t usually do hauls during the holidays, since the things I’m getting are gifts for others rather than something I would use. So I ended up going to a lot of extended boxing week sales and so on, and here was what I kind have got.
In other words, I usually get my Christmas gifts after Christmas. My mom and I head out to the store’s Boxing Day sales and get what we wanted for Christmas then. I feel like it’s unusual, but it helps my parents save money (in a way) because my birthday is 17 days away from Christmas eve and Chinese new year arrives the month after. Three months of giving lol.
The picture above is of all the items I got during these sales, two of which however, I did not have to buy. The bite lip set in the far left corner is Sephora’s 2018 birthday gift, it includes a small Matte Creme lip crayon in glace, an amuse bouche lipstick in chai and a sample of the agave lip balm and lip scrub. Look below for swatches! The second item that I did not have to buy was the second item in the picture, the Narciso Rodriguez perfume. I had received a voucher/coupon to receive the 50ml bottle for free.
It’s hard to explain how the perfume smells like because it could be different on everyone, however I would suggest heading to the nearest store that carries this perfume and have a go smelling it to see if it’s right for you.
The next two items in the picture were the ones I had bought, the Mugler perfume in Angel Muse $29CAD (travel size) and the Moroccanoil hair treatment $17CAD. The perfume was another choice I could have chosen when redeeming the free perfume, however I had opted for the other one instead. The Moroccanoil hair treatment works pretty well for my hair alongside the other products I currently use, however others could have their own opinions on it.
