I think it’s been a really long time since I did a Q&A, so I guess it’s best to do one now before I forget. There isn’t a lot I have to cover right now, however there’s been a lot going on pertaining to media so we’ll stick to that topic right now…..
1. What TV Shows Have You Seen?
I actually stopped watching TV back in middle school I think, so I haven’t seen anything since then. However, before my cut off of TV, I used to enjoy shows like Terra Nova (ended before middle school I believe), Supernatural, CSI, and The Vampire Diaries (made it until season 3 or 4 before I cut TV) off the top of my head.
2. Cut Off TV?!?!
Well, yeah more or less. But in reality, I was more or less “persuaded” to cut off TV by one main factor which I guess requires a short back story. The condo my family and I live in (according to my dad) already has a basic cable subscription, but one day we lost a bunch of our channels and continued to lose more. Sooner or later there was no TV at all, and we ended up having to get a TV box (provided free by our building). Even with that box, the TV shows I once loved, changed and I chose to focus on my grades more. Then eventually the box broke and the rest is history.
3. How Did You Last THAT Long Without TV?
Honestly? I actually have no idea, but I’ve always read books more than I watched TV so the transition to not having TV wasn’t that hard. To this day, if I have nothing to do I’d have at least read an ebook, went on YouTube or played a game once during that day. Or try to finish up a blog post.
4. Favourite TVD Couple
Oh gosh, I left off on Season 3 or 4 so I don’t know a lot of what happened afterwards except for the rundown a friend who saw most (if not all) episodes, gave me. I ship Elena+Stefan, Elena+Damon and Caroline+Stefan. Weird I know, because the whole point was choosing an ultimate fav couple, but I liked most couples.
5. Favourite Music?
Right now, I enjoy a mix of K-pop and American Pop songs. I made the switch back in middle school because I fell out of touch with pop songs, but I’ve kept up with the most popular ones.

6. If You Stopped Watching TV Did You Stop Watching Movies Too?
No, I’ve always been a fan of movies within the genre or style that I like and love the whole experience of watching something at the theatres. After cutting out TV, I switched back to the VHS tapes we had lying around until the VHS Player broke. Then went back and forth between streaming movies, going to the theatre and DVDs.
I saw The Meg recently, I would recommend it to those who loved Jurassic Park/Jurassic World, and Jaws. Two other movies I would recommend checking out is Crazy Rich Asians, and The Spy Who Dumped Me.
