Welcome to the first official blog post of 2023! What are some of your goals for this year? Any plan for new years resolutions? And let me show you which skincare product is my first empty of 2023!

Already our first week into 2023 and things feel weird, at least for me anyways. I hope that everyone is doing alright and putting wishes forward that 2023 is what you expect! I’m going to be finishing up my second year of college this school semester. This means I am halfway there to completing the program, and one semester closer to going for an internship.

It feels like time is moving so fast yet it’s also been a long time coming to get to where I am now, and I think that is messing me up a little bit. On the other hand, things like creating new year resolutions and goals are some things that help to keep me grounded. Oh and let’s not forget product empties!

Well, not really. Unlike other skincare enthusiasts, I don’t actually like to keep my empty product containers to compile into an ’empties’ video or blog post. This is because those empty products make me think I need to get more of something when that isn’t necessarily true. But I thought it’d be okay to give it a try anyway.

Empty Skin1004 Centella Ampoule

The product that I finally managed to finish is Skin1004’s Madagascar Centella Ampoule, you can actually see the original review I had for this, linked below!

The review went live in February 2022, so for the 55mL bottle it took me almost a whole year to finish it! Now that is interesting. I won’t have a use for the bottle at all so I’ll be seeing what I can do to recycle it. In the meantime, I do have a serum replacing it (review to come soon as soon as I’m done with my trial period) but it is not Centella anything so it should be interesting.

Now, onto new years stuff. Does anyone have any specific goals in mind for 2023? Not necessarily new years resolution goals but maybe something you want to absolutely do this year, or are setting up to do this year?

My goal for 2023 is to find a better balance and also focus a little on myself. 2022 was a little harsh on this anxious student at the end there, so I’m hoping to find that calmer zone again. I’m planning to cook a little more when possible, eat a little healthier and also focus on physical and mental health too. All very vague goals I know but I feel like that’s a good start for the year.
