iUnik’s Tea Tree Relief Serum is a staple in a lot of skincare routines for people with redness and pimples. I’ve always been interested in it, but a little wary of tea tree because I’ve heard that it’s a little drying. I finally got a chance to try it through the Picky Reviewer program, so on to the review!

#Gifted

The serum was gifted to me through the Picky Reviewer program in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve been using it for close to a month now and I’m pleasantly surprised with how well it integrated into my current skincare routine, and how it works with my skin. The tea tree serum itself is best known for its soothing and moisturizing properties, but it also provides some brightening and wrinkle care properties.

This makes it an awesome product for me right now because I have a bit of darkened/uneven skin tone around my mouth due to the constant masking, not to mention that the area is also a bit dry too.

The serum is in a glass bottle and dropper duo, and it’s got a very simple design. My one annoyance with the dropper is that it only sucks up to halfway up, no matter what I do. I can’t tell if it’s just the product design (I don’t think it is) or if my dropper is a little wonky, but it took some getting used to.

The serum is a light green colour and is pretty much clear-ish, it also looks watery but the consistency actually has a little bit of viscosity to it. It’s honestly really nice to apply on the skin and the slight cooling sensation is wonderful for summer, and a little of it goes a long way which is great because it comes as a 50mL bottle.

It’s brightened the uneven skin tone fairly well, and I’ve noticed reduced redness when I wake up in the morning. The serum has also been very moisturizing and I notice less dryness when I wake up, but it might not be the best for those needing something for super dry skin.

In Canada, this retails around $26 CAD for 50mL which is about the same pricing for similar products. It can be bought from various places like Amazon and Sukoshi Mart, or if you want, check out local sellers/stores here.

Overall, I really liked this serum. While I think it’s a little basic compared to a lot of specialized serums and ampoules being released, it’s still a great product and a very popular Holy Grail for a lot of people. I’ve added this to my “fall back” list to use when I’m between trying serums.
