It’s that time of year folks! Labour Day! For many, this is just any other working day with busy lines and etc. But for some select few, it’s a day off work! Here’s some possible things to do this Labour Day.

First off, 2020 and 2021’s Labour Days are going to be similar. The options are fairly limited to what you can and can’t do, based on what’s open or not.

Right off the bat only a select few malls are open within driving range, with Eaton Centre being smack dab in the middle. For more info on what malls are open, Google the mall’s public pages.

If you’re looking to get away from the city for the day, here are some of my favourite options; Niagara on the Lake, Niagara Falls, Port Credit, Ottawa, Wasaga Beach and Barrie.

The Niagara Area is a very popular option, so if you’re hoping to go there I hope you’re already on your way or leaving soon.

Within the city however, you can make your way to the waterfront for the Air Show. It will be loud all around downtown however, so be prepared. Most of the time, children will be frightened by the noise so have some good buffering or noise cancelling headphones for them.

Also prepare to notice that the waterfront and the Toronto Island may be packed. Other than that, there are other attractions around Toronto that are open like the Zoo, the CN Tower and etc.

As you can see, there isn’t a lot to do. In previous years, Labour Day meant the last day of the CNE as well and it was such a fuss. I kind of miss those days (it’s been 2 years after all), but we will get back to that soon I hope!

Anyways, I hope everyone has a fun or relaxing day today. And don’t stay too late! School for most students start the next day 🙃
