This collaboration happened a really, really long time ago and I absolutely forgot about it because of how hectic my school schedule was at the time. To put it into perspective, I bought this the week of Black Friday! Just only doing the review now though, so I do apologize!

In this collaboration collection, there are three products; an eyeshadow palette, lip trio and face & body embellishments (temp tattoos?). I personally loved the eyeshadow palette colours, but I don’t use eyeshadow that often to justify buying that. I also didn’t really dig the body embellishments, so I opted for the lip trio.

I go to school in Mississauga and at the time it was still in-person classes, Square One does have a Morphe store so I got these there.

The lip trio retails for $28 CAD, which isn’t too bad considering that in some places, $28 is the cost of one lippie. The best way I can describe the product is that it’s a tinted and shimmery lip balm. I liked it because the colours do change your natural lip colour into a new but low-key shade, but it doesn’t dry out your lips as fast.

There is an orange-tint, blue-tint and purple-tint, called Moonchild, Sky Whispers and Crescent Dreams, respectively. My personal favourite is crescent dreams because it gives a more natural colour payoff, and my least favourite is moonchild because it does appear more orange on my lips. However, they all work wonderfully as toppers for other lipstick colours.

I also really like the shape and material of the lippies, it’s round, small but also matte so it’s going to be perfect to stuff in your pocket or small purse.

Overall, the price, the colours and the number of lippies make this a worth-it purchase if you don’t have anything like it. It is very similar to a lip topper type of product you can get elsewhere, but personally, I believe this formula is better. Balmy and not sticky or dry.
